Modern politics has become bitter and divisive. Families and friends are split and many relationships have soured in the face of unrelenting political dogma. This is clear in the news we consume, the social media we follow, and increasingly, the company we keep. Art is no exception - basic expression now has a political bent.
So I painted this. It's my attempt to remind people that laughter, togetherness, and family are still part of the political conversation. I hope this small contribution helps remind people that now more than ever, we should engage each other not with barbs and hostility, but with a joke and a drink. (BTW before you ask - it's just water in President Trump's glass)
So with that said, please enjoy my latest work. "Make America Great Again". I chose this name because the men represented in the work each led our Great Country out of times of crisis into new eras of renewed greatness and prosperity.
